Usage
Diethylamino-sulfur trifluoride (DAST) is a widely used fluorination reagent in organic synthesis. It is a member of the (dialkylamino) sulfur trifluoride family. DAST is a nucleophilic fluorination reagent, which can convert alcohol hydroxyl group into corresponding fluorine and aldehydes and ketones into difluoride.
